About Jennifer
Jennifer Grace is a Canadian visual artist based in Milton, Ontario, known for her signature maximal minimalist style—where simple forms are transformed into bold, sculptural statements through decadent, textured paint. Working primarily with impasto “thick paint” petals and richly layered surfaces, she creates artwork that feels both modern and deeply tactile. Though she first built her foundation in acrylic pouring, she now explores texture-driven techniques that bring depth, movement, and quiet luxury to her pieces. She still offers pour commissions upon request, honouring the roots of her creative journey.
Her current collections reflect this evolution. In her maximal minimalism body of work, clean lines and understated shapes are elevated through dynamic texture, pushing the boundaries of simplicity and indulgence. Her growing Wildflower series follows the same philosophy—monochrome palettes transformed into lush, sculptural blooms that feel both organic and refined.
A self-taught artist with a passion for continuous growth, Jennifer has pursued numerous courses, workshops, and mentorships to expand her skill set. She also shares her knowledge generously with the art community, offering guidance, tips, and insight to support others on their creative path.
Jennifer lives with several severe chronic illnesses, and being a disabled artist informs both her process and her perspective. Her studio practice is shaped by creativity, resilience, and a deep commitment to finding ways to create—even on difficult days. Painting has become a powerful form of presence and pain relief for her, offering moments of calm, focus, and connection. Art has been a gift in her life, and through her work and her social media presence, she hopes to pass that gift forward: inspiring others, celebrating beauty in simplicity, and proving that artistry can thrive even through adversity.
